Tahir Register was born and raised in Newark New Jersey. As a child he always fancied the performing Arts. In 3rd grade he had his chance to show off his talents by participating in George Washington Carvers choir singing the Lion Kings "The Circle Of Life" at New Jersey's very own NJPAC. "Being on that stage was like being in love for the first time, it felt like me and the stage and the people in the audience were one". Tahir picked up the clarinet in 5th grade and mastered it enough to audition and get into the first performing arts high school in the nation, Arts High School, home of Sara Vaughn, Tisha Campbell, Savion Glover, Kat Deluna....Tahir excelled in Arts High School, starring in many different productions and picking up a love for acting as well. He studied acting under the late great Halim Suliman and has won many different contests in acting. Tahir was discovered by Susu Stewart and meet with Elisabeth Withers and has been singing background for her off and on while balancing college and his acting career. He recently won a contest to get free headshots for his acting career. Having only been in one commercial Tahir is very anxious to start his career. Listen to his music, videos, etc....
